Where We Stayed: Coldwater, MI

We spent one night at the Best Western Plus in Coldwater during our road trip and were happy with our stay for the most part. Our room had a king bed and pull-out sofa. Everything was fine except for the blanket that was in the room to use on the sofa bed. It was clean, but the fabric had an odd, waxy texture; the girls didn't want it touching them.

I do want to say thanks to the staff: the lady staffing the breakfast area who brought me plain batter when she heard DD2 say that she didn't want strawberry, the housekeeping who set aside the PJs that DD1 left behind, and the front desk staff who sent said PJs.

Breakfast: full breakfast with hot options such as scrambled eggs and sausage. They had strawberry-flavored batter out for the waffle maker, which was fun.
