We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Greenwood, IN for one night on our road trip in a room with 2 queen beds. We arrived right around check-in time, but it took the staff a few minutes to find a room for us. Once we had our room, everything was fine.
Breakfast: full breakfast included. The hot options included turkey sausage, omelets (cheese or veggie with egg whites), and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were especially good, nice and fluffy. The gravy was fine. The turkey sausage was kind of dry. There also was a machine with made-to-order pancakes: press a button and watch as the machine pours batter, conveys it through a hot press, and spits it out onto a plate that you've placed at the other end. The girls enjoyed watching the process, and the pancakes were good, too. There were assorted continental-style options, including Cinnabon rolls. I also spotted high chairs in the dining area.
Blow dryer: yes
Bathroom: shower/tub combo
Pool: yes, indoor
Park: I'm not sure if it's the one nearest to the hotel, but Craig Park was a short drive away. It had some play equipment that the girls enjoyed--and a picnic shelter so that we could watch them in the shade.
